Yes. Audio is streamed to the cloud for real-time analysis via Whisper, but it's never stored. Only transcripts are saved locally for your reports, and you have full control to delete them anytime.

Who can see my Empy cues during calls?+

Only you. Empy runs privately on your screen as a small widget. No bot joins your meeting, nothing is shared with participants, and your cues remain completely private to you.

What permissions does Empy need and why?+

Empy needs Microphone permission to process audio locally and Accessibility permission to display the widget. These are standard macOS permissions that ensure Empy can help you during calls while keeping everything private.

Can I delete my data?+

Absolutely. You can delete any transcript with one click. Since audio is never stored and processing happens locally, there's no cloud data to worry about. You're always in control.

Does it work with Zoom/Meet/Teams?+

Yes, Empy works with all major video conferencing platforms including Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. It runs as a desktop widget alongside your calls.

How do you capture decisions?+

Empy listens for decision language patterns and confirmation cues. When it detects a decision being made, it captures the outcome and who owns it, nothing more.
